Rebar Shop Drawings
Rebar detailing is the process of transforming structural design drawings into precise, construction-ready shop drawings that guide reinforcement placement on-site. Our detailing team interprets the engineer’s intent and creates comprehensive placing drawings that specify the bar size, quantity, shape, spacing, and exact positioning of each reinforcing bar within the concrete element—before concreting begins.
At The Wiser Engineering Services, we use CAD to prepare detailed 2D reinforcement drawings that align with ACI, CRSI, CSA and ASTM standards, ensuring complete code compliance and constructability. We also generate Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) in customized formats suited for both manual fabrication and automated cutting and bending machines.
